i have rather eclectic tastes and interests, though i think about my special interests the most:

• music theory (since 2005)
• medicine (since 2008)
• the SCP foundation (since 2014)
• the murderbot diaries (since 2025)

i suppose this is the kind of page where i'm allowed to talk about myself at lengths considered rather gauche on socmed platforms, isn't it? i'm more used to talking about myself in terms of bite-sized indicators slapped into a tumblr or carrd "about me" page, but i'll do my best to do so in a paragraph format.

i'm a filipino-chinese genderless gay man. i hatched out of a hole in the earth of asia 20-something years ago. i use it/its and siya/niya primarily, although i accept auxiliary he/him and she/her should you find those difficult. i love to draw and make music, and i have some experience in video editing and motion graphics, though i don't do those as often as i used to.

i consider myself a passionate and energetic person! though it probably doesn't seem as such given the tone of this entire page. i honestly don't know what happened! i don't usually sound like this! i'm actually a deeply unserious person and not as stuffy as this page makes me sound.

i've been with my wonderful boyfriend, husband, partner, what have you, since 02:30 of october 3, 2020. he is the light of my life and i wouldn't be where i am right now without him.

i'm quite dedicated to my right to self-expression online given a lack of such outlets in real life. this mostly manifests in cultivating the aesthetics of my online spaces. black and gold are basically who i am, at this point.
